Client Reviews...

“Thank you for coming to our rescue on Friday!  Everyone appreciates how you dropped everything to help us with our crisis.  You certainly pulled a rabbit out of a hat!”

Debra Baum
L.C. Williams & Associates

(DLB secured Deidre Hall and Jane Elliot on 24 hours notice after another celebrity cancelled).

“The DLB team worked diligently, rapidly and over the Memorial Day weekend to come up with an incredible list of available speakers within our budget.  I can’t say enough about their level of professional customer service.  They definitely went the extra mile.”

DLB, Ltd. recommends the appropriate spokespersons or speakers based on Program Objectives, Target Audience, Services Required and Budget.

In order to recommend and secure the appropriate celebrity or expert for each program, DLB, Ltd. (DLB) works with its clients in a consistent manner and process involving the following steps:

1. Inquiry:
DLB yields inquiries by phone or e-mail. At this stage, clients are asked to provide as much detail as possible regarding:

  • Program/Event Details (date, time, location)
  • Objectives
  • Target Audience and Demographics
  • Program Elements (Product Launch, Satellite Media Tour, Radio Media Tour, National/Local Interviews, Personal Appearance, Keynote Speech)
  • Budget

2. Letter of Understanding:
Prior to commencement of services, DLB will send clients a one-page Letter of Understanding (LOU) to be signed and fax’d back to DLB. The LOU explains the proprietary nature of the information that DLB will be providing, DLB’s fee structure and client payment responsibilities.

3. Recommendations:
Utilizing its extensive database and contacts, DLB will provide the client with a list of appropriate celebrities, sports stars, experts or speakers to meet its objectives all within the budget parameters.

There is no fee charged for these initial services.

4. Selection:
After initial review of the recommendations supplied by DLB, the client should narrow down its choices to two or three individuals. In the case of experts, DLB will contact the top preferences, if needed, to secure background material (media kit, DVD).

5. Offer Letter:
After making its first choice of potential spokesperson or speaker (Talent), the client must submit a Formal Offer Letter (form will be provided) which authorizes DLB to submit a Formal Offer to the selected Talent.

The Offer Letter includes information on all program/event details and logistics, a specific list of services requested and the fee offered. This fee includes a commission to DLB.

By submitting this Formal Offer, the client acknowledges that if the Talent accepts the Offer, a full and binding contract has been made. No changes or cancellations can be made to the terms and conditions of the Offer once it has been submitted and the client is fully liable for the full amount of the fee once its Offer has been accepted.

DLB will oversee all negotiations with the Talent.

6. Agreement:
Upon acceptance of the Offer by the Talent, DLB will provide all required legal services in drafting the Agreement and will manage negotiations between Talent’s representative and client to secure final approval on all terms and conditions of the Agreement .

7. Logistics: DLB will coordinate all logistical support in terms of the Talent’s participation in the program/event including travel arrangements (airfare, hotel, ground transportation), hair and makeup arrangements if needed, and other details necessary to meet the specific terms of the Agreement.

DLB is often on-site to oversee and assist in final arrangements for a successful program or event.
