A Chicago native, attorney and former agent for Oprah Winfrey, Darcy L. Bouzeos established DLB, Ltd. in 1989 as an entertainment and sports marketing firm specializing in obtaining celebrities, sports stars and experts for national public relations programs and corporate marketing events.

After receiving her law degree from John Marshall Law School in 1985, Darcy joined Jeffrey Jacobs & Associates and served as attorney and agent for one of the firm’s newest clients, Oprah Winfrey. Darcy managed all of Oprah’s early endorsement opportunities and outside speaking engagements, and after four successful years left to establish her own firm, DLB, Ltd.

For nearly 20 years, Darcy has recommended and secured a national network of attention generating celebrities, sports stars and experts for a prestigious group of public relations firms, corporations, and advertising agencies. She has earned a reputation for outstanding service, exceptional professionalism and extensive follow through to facilitate the success of each client program.

Darcy has taught numerous seminars on the Celebrity Spokesperson business and has been quoted regularly in USA Today, Entertainment Weekly, The New York Times, SportsBusiness Journal and The Chicago Tribune. She was named one of the “Top 40 Professionals Under 40” by Crain’s Chicago Business magazine.

An award-winning public relations and communications professional, Dawn McCormick serves as South Florida Associate for DLB, Ltd. and assists in all areas of celebrity recommendations, procurement and logistics to ensure that all DLB, Ltd. projects are managed with the highest professional standards and service.

Dawn has more than 20 years experience as a senior-level Public Relations executive as president of her own firm, McCormick Communications in Boca Raton, Florida and as Senior Director of Corporate Communications for The Irvine Company in Orange County, California. Her areas of expertise included Strategic Counseling, Media Relations, Marketing Publicity, Fund-raising and Community Relations support.

Prior to her Public Relations career, Dawn was a Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter for WFRV-TV (NBC affiliate) in Green Bay, Wisconsin and KNTV (ABC affiliate) in San Jose, CA. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from Northwestern University in 1980.
